Chicago based ensemble, The Hannan Eisenmenger Jazz Group, plays a mix of hard bop classics, tunes from the Blue Note era, and aggressive swinging originals. The band has a sound that honors the tradition of jazz while also looking ahead, creating a musical experience that feels refreshingly new. Co-leaders Christine Hannan and Conner Eisenmenger are both decorated practitioners of jazz and commercial music. Hannan is a self-made vocalist who runs multiple groups that are currently in demand in the Chicago area. Eisenmenger, a former member of the 7-time grammy nominated One O’Clock Lab Band, has been recognized as a soloist on both the national and international competitive stage. The Hannan/Eisenmenger Jazz Group is a presentation of their collaborative body of work.
